Bring me to my knee’s
For I have no righteousness
All I have,
Is but filthy rags

My Lord, My Lord!
Pride has no place here
My King, My King!
Hate has no hold here
For you have every right to hate
And yet you hold your justice back

My Savior, My Savior!
Desire has no right here
My God, My God!
Temptation has no stand here.

My Father, My Father!
Sin.
Has no place here
Before your throne.
And yet that’s all I have Lord,
Is Sin.
All I bring to you,
Is Sin.
Deception,
Hate,
Un-Forgiveness,
Temptation,
Desire,
Pride.

Why do I think I can do this without you?
Why do I think I have it all under control?
And yet when my life falls apart, I wonder why.

Humble me Lord,
For before your throne
I realize my need.
Humble me King.
Because at your cross
I realize my sins.

Bring me to my knee’s
For I have no righteousness
All I have,
Is but filthy rags.

How Dare I Lord?
Spit in your face with lies,
With…Sin.

For what I don’t want to do,
I do,
And what I want to do,
I don’t do.
Who will save me from this body of sin oh Lord?

You did,
When you died on the cross,
And one day I won’t have to fight this battle.
But until then Lord,
I will always fight until the last breath.

…Because you Loved me first.
