EBC: Cold Winds

Speed isn't everything, the blind tigeress reminded herself. Her breath could be seen in the cold icey air of winter, as her lungs struggled to get in all the air she needed. The wind blew into her ears, causing sounds to blend and merge.  There's a fallen log ahead, if I move right I can go around it... She rememebered, weaving off from the main path.

This was it, the final test.
Aleeza wasn't fast, nor was she quiet, and she had been fearful of this test for a long time. She was clumbsie and slow, she knew she couldn't out-run Emunide...But, the more she thought about it the more she realized. Speed wasn't everything, Aleeza new where every rock, tree, log, and hill was in lighting empire. She was blind, so she knew the location of everything, she knew the land better then  any other cat. And that was how she would win, and so she focused on the land and not on speed.  As the cold winds blew against her, she ran on with determination...

 I can do this.

Aleeza's final test! My tiger is a cub no more, ah its been so fun watching her grow. I feel like a mom for a moment LOL. Tecnically she still has her offensive training, which will be submitted to the group before this. I'm just finishing up the RP with her mentor Astrid on offensive training. :'D But I wanted to get this drawn while I had the insperation.
